Before joining Waterland, Joakim worked within investment banking at Nomura in London. During his studies, Joakim worked as Analyst at Novo Holding’s Principal Investments team.

Joakim holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics and Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, both from Copenhagen Business School.
